She was the key lady on our floor at the Russian Hotel. She took our keys and gave them back to us as we left or entered our floor in the hotel. She spoke some English.

Earlier during the week she had warned me about the KGB. She said that they ask her if she thought I was CIA. She had even pointed out one of the KGB agents to me. She said nervously, “KGB knowed, ahhh, you vorked for air-a-plane company. (technical writer for F-16 support materials years earlier). Police released the Minnesota bridge collapse 911 tapes today. This is a very sad situation, a great tragedy.

However, people need to understand that they will see their lives from its beginning to its end when they stand before God. It will be more than just audio. God (so to speak) has a our tapes. (more…)

In a history class (If I recall) or perhaps a history book, I remember that Napoleon, before his death pointed towards a red cross he had drawn over Britain and remarked in anger, “If it wasn’t for that red cross, I would have ruled the world.”

I was thinking (yes, I do think sometimes), Satan could have made a similar statement about Calvary,”If it wasn’t for that red cross, I would have ruled the world.”

Thank God for Jesus’ shed blood on Calvary’s cross!
